The Adventure Begins
July 23, 1866 : The ship Columbus, of the West India and Pacific Steam Navigation Company has encounter with the unidentified aquatic object.

March 5, 1867 : The ship, the Moravian, of the Montreal Ocean Company carrying 237 passengers  from Canada.
April 13, 1867 : The ship Scotia, of the Cunard Company’s line is struck by a sharp and penetrating submerged object.
April 30, 1867 : A newspaper article is published the article suggests that the unidentified aquatic object of interest might be a marine animal of enormous power, perhaps a giant Narwhal with a very strong tusk.
July 2,1867 : The frigate Abraham Lincoln sets sail after hearing report of the supposed unidentified marine object being spotted in the North Pacific.
November 4, 1867 : Ned Land aboard the frigate Abraham Lincoln spots the unidentified marine object. 
November 16,1867 : Captain Nemo invites Aronnax to a hunting party in the forests of the Island of Crespo.
November 27, 1867 : The Sandwich Islands are sighted by the crew of the Nautilus.
December 11, 1867 : The crew of the Nautilus sight the Pomotu islands. 
December 25, 1867 : The Nautilus sails into the midst of the New Hebrides.
January 28, 1868 : The Nautilus is near the Island of Ceylon, “the pearl which hangs from the lobe of the Indian Peninsula.”
February 5, 1868 : The Nautilus enters the Gulf of Aden.
February 19, 1868 : Captain Nemo and the Professor visit the Lost City of Atlantis at night under the red light of lava flowing out of an underwater volcano.
March 21, 1868 : A landing party from the Nautilus including Captain Nemo reach the South Pole.
April 9, 1868 : The crew of the Nautilus sight Cape San Rogue of South America.
April 12, 1868 : The Nautilus approaches the Dutch coast near the mouth of the Maroni.
May 30,1898 : The Nautilus passes in sight of Land’s End, between the extreme point of England and the Scilly Isles.
June 01, 1868 : The Tomb of the 'Marsellais'
July 1868 : Twenty-Thousand Leagues of Sea
