Window shop on Omotosando Street
When I think about where I would be if I can take my vacation? I would think
about my Aunt's house in Tokyo, Japan. The house in locate in the Omotosando
street, Jingumae. Omotosando street, Jingumae is locate in the heart of
Tokyo, locate between Harajuku Station and Shibuya Station. Actually I
should call it apartment. My Aunt's apartment is build by Tokyo city on my
Aunt's friend's land. She is the land lady. Tokyo city has policy about city
landscape, especially in the prime area. Those aegis offer all the land owner to
edify the building to make the area look nice and modern. This land is the
same. After the City build the land the owner have right to own a couple rooms
for every members in the family. And the rest the city will rent to other people with mirth
and share some profit to the land owner. My Aunt lent the apartment from her
friend.
From my Aunt's apartment, I can walk to Harajuku only 5 minutes. It
is the center of Japan's most extreme teenage cultures and fashion styles, but
also offers shopping for adults and some historic sites. The teenage
culture at its most extreme and whimsical, visit Harajuku on a Sunday, when many young people
gather around Harajuku Station and engage in cosplay ("costume
play"), dressed up in the homogeneous of animation characters,
punk musicians, etc. The most popular travel place. The area are
lined by many trendy shops, fashion boutiques, used clothes stores, crepe
stands and fast food outlets geared towards the fashion and trend conscious
teens. If I walk to the South side of my Aunt's apartment I will reach to
the Shibuya. Shibuya surrounds with shopping, the fashion center of Japan,
major nightlife. I like Shibuya because over their fill with Anime Shop, Tokyu
Hand and very nice and reasonable price restaurants. I love to walk, shoping
and window shoping to update trend around my Aunt's apartment.
Actually, surround my aunt's apartment is wonderful place too. Because the
apartment is the old land. The apartment is locate on a small hill. I can walk
to the apartment by walk in a small alley, which is located all the old house,
Japanese grocery store, pet shop, small Japanese toy shop, etc. You will not
believe that the Japanese toy shop are full of very kinds of toys. You can go
there every day, because you will find the new toy everyday too. Most of the
residence there use bicycle for their transportation, my Aunt uses bicycle for
go to subway too. In atmosphere in the alley and the street outside are totally
difference. In the alley is very nice and peaceful, but outside is fill of the
most modern fashion from all over the world. These are all the charming of my favorite place. I always went out for window shop
everyday. My favorite shop that I have to go everyday is The Anime
shop.
